Overview

A great opportunity exists for an experienced commercial property valuer, looking for a position with the potential to progress.

 

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Valuations and assisting him in the growth of the business. The role will include a wide variety of clients and assignments, ranging from valuations for portfolio clients comprising both institutional pension funds, corporates and family estates to loan security valuations, purchase advisory, tax and other ad hoc valuations, which may include financial viability assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Directly involved with the growth of the commercial valuation business
  • Ability to lead on the valuation of portfolios reporting directly to clients
  • High quality presentation skills, with the ability to present information accurately and succinctly both orally and in reports
  • Ability to reach firm and justifiable conclusions on values for work undertaken by yourself and other members of the team
  • Ability to work virtually unsupervised and with minimal peer review
  • Ability to deal with several instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively
  • Deliver fee income commensurate with role

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable ability to generate significant fee income
  • Significant track record in commercial valuations
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
  • RICS registered valuer
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A high standard of report writing
  • Excellent PI claims record for work undertaken and supervised
  • Ability to win new clients with a strong peer network
  • Ability to adopt both a professional and commercial approach
  • Self motivation and a will to meet targets and achieve success
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Team player
