Cluttons is seeking a Senior Valuation Surveyor. Based from the Abu Dhabi office, they will be responsible for managing both Residential and Commercial client properties/portfolios within the Emirate on a day-to-day basis. Predominantly, the focus will be on the management of Commercial portfolios with a strong emphasis required on generating new business and growth of portfolios, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients. They will manage a small team of Valuation staff and contribute to the support of other APC candidates.


  • To carry our property valuations for land, apartments, villa and buildings, both existing property, new build and under construction, ensuring correct advice and guidance is provided on market values
  • Contribute directly towards improving the team’s fee income and profitability
  • Undertake a lead role in the promotion and development of the Valuation team within the wider Cluttons business
  • Ability to work virtually unsupervised and with minimal peer review
  • Produce high quality presentations with the ability to present information accurately and succinctly both orally and in draft reports
  • Reach firm and justifiable conclusions on values for work undertaken by yourself and junior members of the team
  • Co-ordinate and manage instructions, specifically the turnaround time whilst maintaining quality control
  • Manage multiple instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively
  • Actively manage and grow client base to deliver financial goals
  • Contribute to the graduate development of direct team members
  • Lead and manage the graduates and ensure that they fully understand how their work impacts and contributes to the overall firm
  • Attend external networking events, keep abreast of market developments and share these regularly with the team and Group as required


  • Educated to degree level, Bachelors and/or Masters (RICS Accredited)
  • Member of the RICS with relevant Valuation experience
  • RICS Registered Valuer
  • Driving license holder
  • At least two years experience in a similar role, preferably with some knowledge of Middle East markets
  • Strong experience in business development with a proven track record of winning new business
  • Experience of enhancing performance through growth and profitability
  • A self-starter keen to take on responsibility for managing instructions or subsections of major instructions within team with ability to prioritise when required
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to build rapport and relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent team management, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
