Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the servicing and overall management of an exclusive property and facilities management instruction. They will be involved in the day to day running of the department, playing a key client facing role laising with vendors and have key involement with business development (drafting tenders and client relationship management). The right candidate will have the responsibility to support and oversee the efficient operation of all engineering services, supplier contract management, maintenance of all assets and OPEX costs are budgeted accurately.

 

Responsibilities

• Deliver high level operational property and facilities management services to maximise quality to the client and minimise disruption to tenants
• Play an integral part in the promotion and development of the Property and Facilities Management service within the Cluttons Egypt setup
• Ensure accurate information is collated on appropriate systems to ensure accurate management data is accessible any time
• Contribute directly towards improving the Property and Facilities Management processes, mentoring of others and managing the efficiency of external contractors, where appropriate
• Share experience and knowledge with colleagues to ensure best practice and maximise process efficiencies
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work flexible hours in a collaborative and diverse team environment, if situation demands
• Must be well familiar with computer applications and capable of generating & presenting maintenance and status update reports
• Total compliance with the Firms policies and procedures and as set by the RICS for members

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications / experience


• Qualified Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or minimum 5-10 years of experience of MEP within the built environment
• Must be an Egyptian national with local market experience in a similar role
• Posesses strong leadership and communication skills
• Good workload organisation, planning, and quality workmanship
• Customer service satisfaction, organisation and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Smart, presentable and professional working manner
• Driving licence holder
